What data is more important; qualitative or quantative?

I think qualitative, the form in which description is used, would be a better form of data. In this way, you are able to understand simple things better and every aspect of the speciemen. You are able to picture the object, and maybe, draw and relate to it later. Also, you might be able to explain the life of the specimen and get a better idea from the notes. Again, when using the qaulitative, the description is deeper, enabling the person to get a better view. If you use quantative, you are only getting measurments and only a hand full of information, but using the qualitative deliveres a better result.
