Post-Test

1. A description of how you prepared for the exam.
How I prepared for the exam, well, not really well. From time to time each night I would revise my notes, while listening to some music. I would then try and revise or make an image of a certain section I don’t feel comfortable with on remembering. It is possible that I didn’t take this test seriously, so there for lacked interest in gaining any knowledge even when I did.
2. How effective was your preparation and why?
When the exam came, I felt like all my so called ‘studying’ went out the window. I did not take this test as seriously as I should have. My preparation was not how I usually prepare for tests: buckle down with some music and study. When I tried to answer the questions, I just couldn’t get any information out of me. I knew I revised it, but not as hard as I should have, the other night. So when I began to answer the questions, it wasn’t very helpful, since I didn’t study. None of it helped me.
3. Do you feel the effort you put forth reflects the grade you received and why?
Yes, I do think my effort reflected my grade, very low and pathetic. Although, I must admit, I expected a much lower grade. My thoughts on my studies reflected on my test. Which, wasn’t very good. Simple mistakes really got to me, and I made a note in the future to make time to double check my work, and do it properly.
4. How do you plan to prepare differently for the next exam, talk about everyday behavior and pre-test study habits?
For my next exam, I will plan out ahead and buckle down. Normally, I would pick a time and place to study, the subject and how long to study for. Due to my sports and play schedules, it is most likely that I won’t be able to start studying till past eight. That includes doing my other homework. So, to make sure I study to my expectations, and to get back on my study schedule, I will try my best to organize my time and even out my homework. That way, my efforts would have not be in vain.
